Young Adults of Evangel

EYAM is a Christ-centered community for young adults seeking to grow deeper in their faith, build authentic relationships, and live out the Gospel in everyday life. We exist to create a space where young adults can encounter God, belong to a supportive community, and be equipped to live on mission. We believe transformation happens best in community, through intentional discipleship, and with a clear sense of God’s calling.

EYAM is for young adults (generally ages 18–35) from all walks of life—students, professionals, creatives, singles, newly married couples, and anyone navigating the transitions and questions of young adulthood. Whether you are new to faith, returning to church, or deeply rooted in Christ, you are welcome here.

EYAM officially launches in February 2026, and we are excited to build this ministry together from the ground up. The launch season will focus on connection, clarity of purpose, and establishing healthy and exciting rhythms for spiritual growth and and a bubbling community.

Help young adults know Jesus intimately, grow in all Christ has for them, and live sent—empowered by the Holy Spirit to impact their lives, individual pursuits, families, workplaces, churches, and communities for God’s glory. We want to see a generation of young adults who are: - Spiritually grounded in Scripture and prayer - Emotionally healthy and relationally connected - Actively serving the church and their communities - Boldly living out their faith in everyday life

You can expect: - Teachings that are relevant, practical, and rooted in biblical truth - Honest conversations about faith, life, purpose, and calling - Worship and prayer that create space for really encountering God - Small-group-style connections and relationship building - A welcoming, judgment-free environment. You can also expect to participate in indoor and outdoor social and sports activities.

No. While community and friendships are a vital part of EYAM, our foundation is discipleship and personal growth. Everything we do—gatherings, discussions, service opportunities, and events—is designed to point us toward Christ and help us grow spiritually together.

Absolutely! EYAM recognizes that many young adults may have children and are confronted with a dilemma about what to do with them when they have occasions to attend. EYAM plans to accommodate children engagingly as their parents focus on the meetings.

No. EYAM is open to anyone, whether or not you are currently a member of Evangel Church. Our hope is that EYAM becomes a bridge—helping young adults connect more deeply to God, community, and the life of the church.

EYAM exists as an extension of Evangel Church’s mission to reach, disciple, and empower people to know and follow Jesus, who is the ultimate shepherd in whom there is no lack. We are committed to supporting the church through service, leadership development, and cultivating young adults who are actively engaged in the body of Christ.

Yes. EYAM is being built with the belief that young adults are not just the church of the future—they are the church now. In line with your God given gifts, talents, and abilities there will be opportunities to: - Serve within EYAM and Evangel Church - Develop leadership and ministry skills - Participate in outreach and community service.

Meeting frequency, formats, and special events will be shared as we encounter the February launch. Expect a consistent rhythm that balances spiritual depth, community connection, and flexibility for busy schedules.
